About Bill Flaherty
Flaherty began his photography career in 1985 and won a national Purina Dog Chow photo contest the next year. He worked as a photojournalist for seven years at his hometown paper, The Morning Sentinel of Waterville. Flaherty counts legendary photographer Ansel Adams among his artistic inspirations.
Wild Bill's photos are developed by Bill Flaherty in a traditional wet darkroom using traditional black & white film. Bill prints the images using various types of high quality black and white paper. Each print is toned in selenium for archival permanence.
